This years awards follow on from the previous and highly successful Business Awards in 2004 and 2006. This high profile biennial business competition will be judged by independent adjudicators (Spotcheck) and culminate in a Gala Awards Evening to be held on Wednesday 23rd May 2008 in The Canal Court Hotel, Newry.

The Business Awards will recognise and reward business excellence across the business community throughout the Greater Newry Area. Participating businesses will benefit from enhanced community spirit, increased consumer confidence, greater support, networking and PR opportunities within the local business community.

There are 20 award categories that will provide every business located in the Greater Newry Area with the opportunity to enter to one or more categories.

The Awards will showcase the very best of local talent, entrepreneurship, best practice and teamwork. Winning one of the prestigious awards is only part of the process.
